Room Descriptions
Computer Lab
The EMS Academy’s Computer Lab is located at the western facility and is comprised of 30 flat-panel state-of-the-art computer systems. Students from all programs regardless of location can access these on-line resources. There has been an investment in the Blackboard web-based learning system to augment the student’s educational opportunities beyond the traditional classroom setting, thus creating a virtual classroom. By utilizing the Blackboard System, students have access to all course related materials, power point presentations, and immediate feedback on all testing and course evaluation methods.

Lab Rooms
The EMS Academy has a total of 14 lab rooms between the two campuses and of which 4 are integrated lab rooms that enable the student and instructor to: Utilize computer-aided, scenario-based, manikin training; Access latest pre-hospital medical research, and gives convenient access to the Blackboard Learning Technology.
The Cleveland Clinic Health System Western Region has made a significant investment in obtaining progressive training equipment to serve as a critical student and instructor resource in the practical setting.

Classrooms
The EMS Academy has 4 technologically enhanced classrooms. These classrooms can hold up to 30 students each while providing an optimal learning environment. The instructor has the ability to use various forms of multi-media platforms, thus inspiring an active learning environment to promote student successes.
