This incredibly exciting and challenging course is sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic EMS Academy in partnership with an extrication specialist. The participants will attend approximately 3 hours of lecture which includes: The Assessment and Management of the Trauma Patient and an Extrication portion. The remaining 4-6 hours is conducted outside with 3 separate extrication and medical scenarios. Everyone has the opportunity to function on the extrication and medical team. All participants will receive 8 hours of EMS continuing education.
