Instructor-Based EMS REFRESHERS!
The Cleveland Clinic EMS Academy is proud to offer the EMT Basic and Paramedic Refreshers online. This distributive learning format will provide EMS professionals a certain level of convenience and allow them to take courses from the Academy when typically they would not be able to do so. The EMT-Basic and Paramedic Refreshers meet the minimum requirements as set forth by the State of Ohio and DOT objectives and meet the National Registry Requirements.

All Other EMS Professionals
- 30-hour EMT Basic Refresher $175 + $75 Skills Review Fee = $250
- 48-hour Paramedic Refresher $275 +$75 Skills Review Fee = $350
- We must receive payment at time of registration or within 24 hours. We will contact within the next business day for payment if it is not during routine business hours.
NOTE: Refresher Fee is payable to Cleveland Clinic EMS Academy. Skills Review Fee is payable to your selected and approved skills review center. Both are due BEFORE you begin the course.
SESSIONS
The Cleveland Clinic EMS Academy will provide a total of 6 Active Refresher Sessions in a calendar year with each lasting approximately 60 calendar days.
NATIONAL REGISTRY SKILLS VERIFICATION
The Cleveland Clinic EMS Academy in conjuntion with approved and accredited EMS education institutions will be providing you a convenient option to practice your skills and prove skill competency. This is not a time to be "nervous", but a time to refresh and review and achieve the comfort in your ability to practice the ems-related skills at your respective level. REGISTRATION
1.) Prospective students will submit a completed on-line application from www.emsacademy.us (appropriate link below).
2.) Upon receipt of the completed application, the student is then required to process payment (if applicable)to complete the application.
3.) All correspondences will come via email. A Student Handbook will be emailed to the student or coordinator requesting the 30hr or 48hr refresher course. This packet will outline the information required to create the Blackboard account and enroll requested students.
4.) The EMS Academy will have the refresher courses activated at midnight on the 1st day of the scheduled session.
